The Republic of Valnir is a small but powerful island Nation in the North-Eastern corner of the Uriva archipelago.

The island isn’t just a heavy lifter in the world economy but also has a rather unique style of Government.

Rather than being a monarchy or parliamentary democratic republic like most of its neighbours, Valnir is considered a corporatocracy. Being ruled by a Board of Directors, each region within the nation sends a representative that is assigned by the wealthiest merchant of that region.

Being situated between wealthy neighbours Valnir has always been a trading island. Which only got solidified even more after its independence from Kornheim in 504 am.

Geography

Valnir is an island nation on the equator of the world. However, due to its mountains and position in the Urivan ocean the climate is rather pleasant.

Split by the sea, Valnir is bordered by Kornheim, Ilavan in the North. Rifmar on the west and Darafar on the south.
